When did you first start using Linux and why? I had been toying with Linux for a long time, but started seriously using it 2000 when i started studying Software Engineering. It seemed much better suited as development system than Windows.

How long have you been using the SMGL distribution? I installed sorcerer in January 2002, never looked back since then

What piqued your interest in SMGL initially? It's source based and the user has full control over everything.

What future do you personally see for SMGL? World Domination

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Education/Career/Skills? I'm currently studying Software Engineering at the University of Stuttgart.

vi or emacs? vi, definitely (more specific: vim)

KDE or GNOME? GNOME apps, running on either a XFce desktop or my current fvwm + rox setup.

BSD or GPL? GPL

What other OS programs/software have you worked on? Tried about every OS i could find for x86 (with the exception of *BSD, don't have a spare box, and since i installed smgl, i don't want to reboot
